For producing the highest polish and machine-like flat surfaces and edges to jewelry, lapping with a hard felt lap is the most efficient method. The top, edge and bottom of the lap can be used, and when using the bottom of the split lap, a stroboscopic effect allows the operator to see the work surface. The motor is mounted at a 45º angle for operator comfort. Accepts laps up to 8" in diameter. Unit is complete with tapered spindle, heavy cast iron base, heavy sheet steel shield 3" inlet for dust connection to dust collector and adjustable lamp. ¡@ |
