For vulcanizing rubber molds. Accepts any mold frame up to 7" x 6". Does everything larger, heavier vulcanizers do at a substantial savings in price. Occupies less bench area and operates on only 4 amps. A forged yoke with acme threads affords a powerful thrust to the upper platen. Stainless steel guide rods assure equal pressure of the platens on mold frames. Power and Heat cycling lights indicate status of operation. Accurate thermostat controls heat accurately and platens distribute heat evenly. Platens are unique on this unit because heating elements are die cast directly into platen. This assures no waste of power and makes replacement simple and inexpensive should it be required. ¡@ |
