Drums covered by 1½" thick slightly harder – durometer solid rubber, helping conform to work and reduce cupping. Drum expands when the wheel rotates to hold the belt firmly in place. Sand belts changing in seconds for metal working and lapidary in cutting, grinding and polishing work. Made of solid aluminum with precision – machined hub True – running with no wobble or bounce delivers better control.
